This range has been designed to protect equipments connected by means of RS-232 in 7 and 23-wire configurations in low-hostility installations in which espected overvoltages are low-level. Its aerial format allows it to be directly connected to the equipment to be protected. Discharge to ground is made through the casing of the protectors itself.
